Family Reunion Photo T-Shirts: Pick a Photo Everyone Can See

The best family reunion shirt feels like a memory people will wear again. A real group photo can do that—if everyone is visible and the image is ready to print. Here is how to prepare a photo for the Podtas custom photo T-shirt without needing design software.

The image above is an illustrative styling example. Your finished shirt follows the photo and placement you upload and approve.

Choose a group photo with room around the people

Look for a sharp original image with faces large enough to recognize. If the people at the left and right edges are nearly cut off, use another frame or leave a little extra space when preparing the image. A screenshot of a social post often has less usable detail than the original photo file.

For a large family, a photo taken in even daylight can be easier to read than one with faces in deep shade. Pick the moment that feels like your family, then check whether every person you want to include is still visible at the intended print size.

Keep the upload realistic

This T-shirt uses image-upload customization. Your photo's background remains part of the print unless you prepare a different image yourself. If you want a reunion year, a family name, or a collage, make one finished image that already contains those elements before uploading. The product editor is for uploading and positioning the image; it does not automatically cut people out or build a design from typed instructions.

Choose a shirt color that helps the photo read clearly. The current product offers Black and White and unisex sizes S–5XL. Compare the garment measurements on the product page with a shirt you already own rather than choosing by letter size alone. Our black versus white photo T-shirt guide offers a closer look at color contrast.

Check the preview before ordering

  1. Choose Black or White and the intended size.
  2. Upload the original JPG or PNG image, then position it inside the available print area.
  3. Look at every face and the outside edges of the photo. Zoom only as far as needed; extra zoom can cut off people.
  4. Check the selected shirt color and size again before adding the item to the cart.

Buying more than one shirt with different photos? Check the preview for each item. If you use a collage, assemble it into a single image before upload. See our 60-second preview checklist for a final pass.

Make the moment wearable

A goofy backyard group shot, a three-generation portrait, or the first reunion in years can each make a meaningful shirt. Start with the clearest photo you love, then upload it to the custom photo T-shirt and review the result before checkout.
